At Garaywa Camp & Conference Center, college-aged students (ages 18-25) have the unique opportunity to serve as a summer staffer at our missions camps. Being a staffer is an amazing service opportunity that allows them to teach campers more about Jesus Christ and how He wants them to serve. The staffer also has the chance to grow as a leader and see more of the spiritual gifts that they have been blessed with.
We cross-train our staff so that they get the opportunity to serve as both Cabin Leaders and Activity Staff in order to get a broad and extensive look at every area and aspect of camp life. Each staff member will be asked to serve as both throughout the summer depending upon the needs of the camp each week. As a Cabin Leader you will oversee a cabin of 12-14 campers with your cabinmate. You will also lead your campers in Bible studies, quiet time, night events, and other activities.
